KEDARNATH TEMPLE -HEAVEN OF THE EARTH

According to Hindu mythology, the Pandavas built the temple to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings after the Kurukshetra war. Kedarnath is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva took refuge in the form of a bull and later vanished into the ground, leaving his hump behind.
